This logo was created for the University of Manchester to use on materials that would be distributed at one of their events. The client wanted to match one of their past logos however the items they would be distributing (pens, magnets, bottle opener) were not conducive to the larger detailed design. The wanted to keep the idea of lots of dots to portray lots of data points and also use the Colombian Flag.
Using their dot concept I created this logo for the magnets that could be full colour printed. I curved the dots to give the impression that each "data" feed was travelling into different areas to be processed.
For the bottle opener and the pens I reduced the logo to one line and kept the three line of dots to mirror the larger logo.
