Repeating FRB

I was tasked with creating an image to help explain the 157-day cycle of an FRB. I worked closely with the scientists to create an accurate yet semi-abstract image to express the cyclic activity of the extragalactic source. The total time from concept to completion was one week, with various stages of revisions.

I created this image to be used for a press release which you can see using the first link below. It was subsequently picked up by most of the major networks, but my personal crowning achievement is that it was picked up by IFLScience (see second link).
